Oldham Cats almost always has plenty of cats in who desperately need homes. We take in every cat we have room for so usually have a variety of ages, co
lours and sexes. Kittens are more common during the summer months (known as 'kitten season') but even then we do not always have kittens available as they are usually in demand, please phone us on 0161 653 6530 if you wish to enquire about kittens to save a wasted journey to the cattery.

Another Mum of ours!! She is also 18 months old and is a dark Tortie. She too was neutered on 19th May and had her 1st vaccination. A fairly quiet natured lady and is just itching to get herself a new home so she can keep her new owner(s) company! If you think you can help then give us a call.

JERRY
Jerry is an 8 year old neutered tom cat (although he doesn't look it! ) who came to us on the 26/06/10 as his owner had been taken into residential care and could not take him with her. Jerry is a lovely , friendly cat who likes to play outdoors and also with people. He would love to have a home of his own again with a loving family, so if you think your house would be made complete with the addition of this wonderful 'man' then please ring us on 0161 6536530 or callin and pay him a visit. TIGGA...HE'S BACK!
We have now let him out of his cage.
Tigga came back to the rescue on 6th July. His owners had tried all ways round of curing his toilet troubles by visiting the vet and diet changes etc, but to no avail. We are hoping that we can find someone who will try and give him another chance but if not then Tigga will remain with us as a resident. He doesn't have the best of toilet habits and on the downside isn't really able to have solid poo's like other cats.
We really do hope that someone might have the right solution to his toilet troubles....and that he might find a home with no other cats...he isn't cat friendly!

CHARM
This young 5 year old came to the rescue on 24th July as her owner has ill health and is now no longer able to care for her. She is already neutered and has lived with other cats and quite a boisterous dog. She would be best suited to living with a family who have older children if at all possible. CHASTITY
Chastity was brought into us from the R.S.P.C.A. on the 21st July after being a stray for at least 6 weeks. She is already neutered and ready to be homed. We think she would be suited to a quiter household where she would get the upmost attention! The picture I took isn't the best as she is a dark Tortie colouring but all the same she is adorable. EBONY
This little beautiful lady came to the rescue 9 weeks ago very heavily pregnant. At the time we had no space so I took her to my home and she had her 4 babies....in my wardrobe...should have then called her Imelda Marcos, but she needed something better than that. Ebony had been a stray in the Boarshaw area of middleton prior to her arrival and has a severe flea allergy. She did have quite a large wound on her back due to this allergy but with the help of some medication the wound has shrunk. She is being neutered on Wednesday 28th and will be back at the rescue on Thursday. The vet will hopefully stitch the area of her back that is causing the irritation. Ebony is such a loveable cat and was quite a dab hand at getting the bedroom door open to come and join the resct of my cats and dog...so no problem there...She is about 18months old and all black in colour. SAMSON....The chatterbox!!
Samson is a very cheeky boy...and vocal with it...He came to the rescue on 23rd July after being a stray in the Chadderton area. He is around 18-24 months old and is due to be neutered on 28th July. QUEENIE AND PRINCESS
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER DUO!
Mother Queenie is 2yrs old this month and Daughter princess is 15months old. Both are pure white and pure....adorable, playful and very loving.
Their owner was absolutely devastated that she had to bring them to us but her ailing disability had to take presidence. Queenie and Princess have also lived with another cat. They are both neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped but must be homed together. Come and have a look at them and you will see why.
