Comment: Hi We'd just like to say thank you for our gorgeous cat, Tigger. We got him via Sue after a phone call from someone wanting to rehome him and his brother. He took a few weeks to settle in but now he rules the place. We don't need an alarm clock as he tells us at 0645 every morning that he wants us to GET UP! He's a big boy and we love him. Thank you Oldham Cats. I'm sure we'll be visiting soon, to donate and view what little angels you've rescued. Lots of Love, Tina, Jerome & Tigger (meow) xxx |

Comment: We adopted Ebony in October 2010, and I just thought I'd let you know she's settled in a treat. After keeping us waiting all day for her when we came to pick her up from the cattery, she's settled in a treat. She still has her wardrobe fetish and loves nothing more than being snuggled up right on top of my unit, another favourite place is on top of the computer monitor. She's very affectionate, myself and my daughter love her to bits. I don't think she has ever forgotten that she was a mummy because, if she hears kittens meowing from the telly if there is an animal rescue programme on, she will look for the kittens, all in all she's doing wonderfully... loves scraps from sunday roast with gravy, and the odd bit of spaghetti bolognese> Ebony is so playful.. and very inquisitive too. Thank you Oldham Cats for my wonderful feline princess, Best wishes for the future, Joanne and Rachel :) |

Comment: I got my first cat from Oldham cats about 8 years ago, Katie and she is so sweet and well loved. Sadly my other 8 year old cat Monica passes away this week and if I decided to get another cat I would contact Oldham cats, they come to you in such good, healthy condition and it is a fantastic charity to support in every way. I love my cats so much, and it nice to know that your are helping the cat community by adopting one of these cats and donating what you can to help others you cannot take home. |

Comment: Hello. My wife and I brought in "Lucky" last saturday. I rang today to see how he was and found out that he had to be euthanased, due to serious kidney issues. That was so sad to hear but, in the condition he was, he could have died sooner rather than later. So he came to Oldham Cats to be cared for in his last days and died in loving surroundings, instead of in a back yard, slowly and painfully and unloved. Thank you, Oldham cats, for all your care and love to these little ones. God bless you. |

Comment: When my little "stripey" died on Jan 25th 2011 we wanted a new pal for her brother Pongo. We took little Buddy from Oldham cats home and what a joy. He is now called Junior and he certainly has come out of his shell and loves chasing bits of paper all round the house. Sadly pongo was put to sleep on Monday of this week (25 April) due to serious ill health and poor Junior misses his pal. He helped Pongo get over the death of his sister. We will be in touch soon. Philip. |

Comment: We adopted Sooty2 in February 2011 and she has made herself very welcome in our home. She has made lots of new "cat" friends and we love her very much. She likes to stalk the smaller dogs and doesn't seem to be frightened of anything! She's very lovable and likes to be cuddled - and doesn't like it if you ignore her or try to read a magazine. We're very glad that she adopted us when we came to the centre - and we knew she was the one for us. She's quite a character - that's why she's so lovable. |

Comment: 9 years ago I came to you for a kitten becuase I had lost my old female cat and my male was very lonely. I got a black and white kitten from you that can only be described as a little monster!!! We moved to Cheshire two weeks later and took Gerry with us obviously and he has turned into a beautiful looking cat, still a little or should I say fat monster but we love him to bits. He loves life in Cheshire, his favorite hobby is catching mice, birds and rabbits the little monkey! |

She has decided where she sleeps and when she sleeps and woe betide anyone who disturbs her. Thank you for allowing us to make her a part of our little family Leann, Jason, Bethany, Payton and Tinks xxxx |

She's loving and kind and although our other cat has not been very welcoming, our little bischon has been very excited by her arrival! We are hoping that with time all our little treasures will become good friends |

I had been looking for two cats to rehome for ages. The cats were extremely timid so they were not maybe every ones ideal cats. Having kept and lost my cats over 30 years these were two cats and I needed each other. I waited patiently for them to accept me and my home It took nearly a year for one them to sit on my knee. One of them sadly had a accident and passed away. Her sister re named lulu is now a very happy cat who jumps up and down with happiness when I walk in the door. Oldham cats has a great peaceful environment very clean and warm. Please don't discount the timid cats with love and patience you will grately be rewarded. I be be sending you a xmas cheque. thankyou |

We weren't sure how well they would get on with 13 year old Cassie, the cat we rehomed from Oldham Cats 5 years ago. We needn't have worried. Cassie thinks she is a kitten again and feels victorious when she snaffles the pink toy mouse from under the noses of the kittens. Thank you to you all at Oldham Cats. Mollie, George and Cassie are thriving. |

He was one of Princess's kittens and, I think, the first one to leave her. We love him to bits. He's very bright and a quick learner. He sleeps in our kitchen where he has the choice of a cozy sofa or a brand new luxury cat bed but being a feline chooses to sleep in the utility behind a dustbin. He loves watching TV and his favorite programme is snooker. He's a great boy! |
