We called her Lucky after she was found abandoned outside the rescue gates, along with her 2 young kittens no less. A couple of our volunteers arrived at the rescue and in the space of them getting on with their work and myself arriving 20 minutes later (as I am usually late!) the parcel had been placed….A good job my car brakes were working and the bag was spotted! (It was set to the side of the rescue in the grass).
She’s approximately 1-year-old and an adorable loving girl.

Lucky kept her kittens with her for a few days whilst they settled but as we found them eating and drinking independently they could be moved to the kitten room to ‘grow up without mum’ for a short while before being available for rehoming. Lucky has been allowed to have a rest in the adult room and let her milk dry up and has since been neutered.  She is so placid and takes in everything that goes on around her. Not one to miss out on the action, she has tried to ‘Escape from Alcatraz’! Fortunately we managed to get her out from under the cages. Anyone who is interested in adopting Lucky will need to be on their toes! We only want the best for our cats, as they do you….! Please give the rescue a call for any further information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye.
