GYPSY – the baby is not part of the deal!

Gypsy is now reserved.

This is the only photo I had at the time but baby is not with her now.

She has been in foster with her 2 wonderful kittens ( now rehomed) and Gypsy is waiting for her milk to dry before she goes for neutering and her 1st vaccination. Her foster Mum Davina has said how loving and scrummy she is ….it is hard to let go when you get the privilege to foster!!. Anyone interested in this beautiful 18 month – 2-year-old girl can reserve in advance of going for the “big op”. Call our rescue for more information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye.

Welcome to our little Fifi. She is a 2-year-old neutered whoa arrived with us on 13th July. Her owners moved into rented accommodation where the landlord put his foot down and said to remove the animal. Poor thing doesn’t know if she is coming or going. Can you give her an everlasting home. She is a little timid so please only a tranquil home for this one. More information? Call the rescue on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye.

Tiz arrived at the rescue on the 12th July. He had previously been homed through the rescue as a kitten. He has become a bit of a bully with their other cat so we recommend he goes to a home with no other cats. He is totally adorable and loves his little trips out in the garden but usually no further. He is neutered and a year old. Come down and pay him a visit if you are interested. Thank you, Faye

This is Isla who is an Abyssinian breed. Previously rehomed from our rescue, Isla has been returned to us. Her owners are working too many hours to give Isla the attention and love she deserves. Poor Isla only has 1 tooth, is neutered and is approximately 8-9 years old. She is a very vocal cat and extremely loving. Anyone wanting to adopt Isla much be aware of her voice….!

Anyone wishing to enquire should ring the rescue on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye

Charity definitely starts here!

Pictured here from left to right are volunteers Deborah Kevens, Faye Kennerley, Samantha Fahmy and Kathryn Pope

After many years of volunteers bringing their own laptops in from home to update the website, we have had an extremely kind donation. Samantha Fahmy, a regular sponsor and visitor has purchased a Vaio laptop for the rescue. This is so that more volunteers will be able to get involved with administration work and learn more about the “other” side of rescue work.  The laptop will be such a valuable and much needed piece of equipment and we cannot thank Samantha enough. I know on behalf of all the other volunteers we all want to say a huge

You truly are in our eyes the puuurfect girl for  getting the job done!

Tinkerbell arrived back at the cattery after being in foster with her brood of 3 (since rehomed). She is about 12 months old and has very large eyes….lovely! Tinkerbell loves company and was very protective as a Mother. All neutered and 1st vaccination done she is all set to be rehomed. Another loveable lady who is just sat patiently for new owners to come and cuddle her away. Call the rescue for more information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye

Mitzi arrived at the rescue on 21st June as her owner had become pregnant. She is between 12-18 months old and came with a kitten in tow  which has been rehomed. Mitzi has now been neutered and had her 1st vaccination so she is all ready to go. Her kitten has since been homed. She is a dainty lady who will be glad of a loving home…..VERY SOON !

Poor Ollie.

He had been one of cats that was adopted a while ago along with his friend Stan. Sadly Stan was caught in a road accident which was upsetting enough for his owners. Now poor “big lad” Ollie has had to be brought to us and a family member of the household has mobility problems and Ollie is causing a hazard by getting too much in the way. It was by no means an easy decision for his owners to make and a reluctant one at that. He is about 6 years old now and just craves attention. We are hoping that a special someone is out there to fill his life with love. Please call the rescue for more information or even pop down and adopt him.

GREAT NEWS….Kianna has been homed today. We all wish her well. xxx

This is one our beautiful Mum cat Kianna. She has recently been brought back to the rescue from our wonderful fosterers after having brought up 3 delicious kittens! She is around 12 months old and will be going for neutering on Tuesday 26th June. She has been such a gentle and very caring Mum, it just shows you what a wonderful character she has. Very clean and loves family life. If you would be interested in adopting Kianna then please pop into the rescue of call for more information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye.

sorry about the photo as I had to use the flash.

Salem was, shall I say “brought and left” at the rescue. The very kind man just arrived without checking if we had space first, of which we didn’t. After being abusive to one of our volunteers he very kindly turned round and started to walk down the street only to open the cage and let Salem loose in a dangerous and unfamiliar area. Our volunteer rushed to the man who was told to catch poor Salem back and bring him back to the rescue. Basically that is all he did. Aren’t some people good-natured? Salem is roughly a year old and will go for neuter next Tuesday. he is a little nervous but not nasty. Is it any wonder he is scared? rest assured he is in a safe place now and we can offer him everything he deserves. For any more information call the rescue on  0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye
