Meet Polly who arrived at the Rescue on 13/10/14. She had been a stray on an industrial site along with her baby. Polly is only around 12 months old and very sweet.
Polly is a ‘polydactyl’ cat, which is a congenital ‘deformity’ which means she has extra toes on each foot. This is not a problem and cats get along very well with it. Just be careful not to let the claws get too long
If you feel you that you would like this little ‘twinkle toes’ in your home, please feel free to call in and visit this adorable little girl or phone the Rescue on 0161 6536530 and ask for more details.
Thanks Sue x

Chris arrived at our rescue on 29th September. He’s from the Alkrington area of Midle ton and had been a stray for several months. Several neighbours had been feeding this big lad but nobody has claimed to be his owner. We’ve had Chris neutered and he’s received his 1st vaccination. Roughly 18 months old, Chris is looking for a home that will care for him to live out many years of comfort, warmth and love. A rough start to life I think so a deserving home is priority for him. Thank you, Faye.
Meet our stunning duo Peter and Jonny.
Both brothers: former kittens of ours, returned to the Rescue on 4.10.14. Peter and Jonny are 12 months of age, both neutered and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, they have been returned to us due to an allergy within the family. During their time with their former owners they have been a much loved family addition, very loving and playing and good with children and other cats alike. Both brothers are incredibly close and dependent upon one another so it goes without saying they MUST be rehomed together. Please do contact the Rescue on 0161 653 6530 or certainly pay this adorable duo a visit if you are interested in providing them with a special forever home. They certainly won’t disappoint you.
Meet our beautiful Lilac who arrived at the Rescue on 10.09.14. She is approximately 12-18 months old and has just reared a litter, bless her. She was brought into the Rescue, as her previous owner, for whatever commitments, no longer had time to care for her. Lilac is truly beautiful; she’s loving, affectionate and is certainly receptive towards fur baby cuddles. Upon approach Lilac seems quite timid but once she knows she has your attention…sh…e loves the ‘cuddle’ experience. If you are interested in adopting this amazing girl, please feel free to visit her in person at the Rescue, or indeed contact us on 0161 653 6530 for further details. She truly is beautiful. Myself, I would suggest a reasonably quiet household for her own wellbeing. I would certainly not rule out other pets, as obviously we are limited in terms of Lilacs’ history ourselves. Thank you
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: DESTINY
Meet our beautiful Destiny. Destiny arrived at the Rescue on 15.09.14. She truly is a beautiful girl, aged approximately 12-18 months of age . She was found as a stray and had been being fed by the family who brought her into the Rescue. She is very friendly indeed and loves her fur baby cuddles. If you are interested in adopting Destiny, please feel free to visit her in person at the Rescue, or indeed contact us on 0161 653 6530 for further details. She certainly won’t disappoint you!
This is Jessie. An 18 month old girl who arrived at the Rescue on 27th July after being found in a garden behind a wheelie bin..! She was very hungry. Neighbours thought she had been clipped by a car but there are no signs of injury.
Jessie is a lovely natured girl who is booked to be neutered on the 5th August. She can be reserved if some kind person were to fall in love with her though. (which is not difficult!)
If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, then please feel free to pop in and visit her. Or for more information, ring the Rescue on 01616536530.
Thank you, Sue x
Meet Flora, a lovely flower of a girl ! She arrived at Oldham Cats on 31st July from Crown House Vets in Rochdale. She had kittens when they first got her but they have since been found homes. Flora is a gentle and very friendly young lady, easy to handle and with the most amazing eyes..! ( not that she is showing them off very well in the photograph!) Flora would make an ideal family pet if someone would just give her the chance. If you think you would like to give this lovely girl a good and loving home and a new chance at life…. please contact the Cattery on 0161 3653650 or call in and pay this beautiful girl a visit.
Thanks, Sue x

May, sitting pretty..!
Meet the lovely May, who is waving hello to all prospective homes. May is around 16 months old and was brought to Oldham Cats after a relationship breakup. Neither party could take care of her. May is a wonderful little lady, very friendly and also very pretty. She arrived at the Cattery on 23rd June and would make a wonderful companion for any household. If you would like to meet her in person, please call into the Rescue or ring us on 0161 6536530 for more details. Thank you Sue x
Meet our stunning Molly,
Molly arrived at the Rescue on 5.7.14 and has been fed as a stray by the gentleman who brought her in…. for some time, so it seems. Unfortunately, he was unable to keep her. This picture truly doesn’t show Molly any justice whatsoever! She is a dark semi-long haired tortie…she is just beautiful! Molly isn’t too happy confined to her cage and is quite nervous at the moment (This is understandable). Our volunteers are investing our love and care into her wholeheartedly …Bless her, she’s just frightened and needs lots of TLC. This beautiful girl desperately seeks that special someone to provide her the love and care she deserves: preferably a quiet household. If you’re interested in adopting Molly please do pay this beautiful (no, stunning) girl a visit…. or contact the Cattery on 0161 653 6530.
She is simply beautiful and just needs lots of love.
