ARCHIE

Archie arrived at our rescue on 6th May. He had been a stray for several weeks. He is semi long-haired and has a fairly good disposition. By this I mean he is fond of affection but not to be picked up and mauled all the time….it’s on his terms! This is not a bad point to make as each cat has its own individual wants and needs. Come down and meet him for yourself, you’ll see he is not so bad after all. Thank you, Faye.

This young lady arrived at our rescue via a local vets on 15th May. She had been taken in there as a stray for some 2-3 weeks. The vet neutered her and cared for her till space at our rescue became available. She is a lovely cat with no malice, well none that we have come across. Please call into the rescue to see her for yourself. I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Faye.

OLLIE AND TABS

These are some of our latest arrivals, Ollie and Tabs. They arrived with us on Saturday 17th May. Their owners live in rented accommodation and have been told no animals were allowed, even though they have had Ollie there since an 8 week old kitten. The boys are both neutered and would like to stay together but not compulsory. Tabs is 2 years old, whilst Ollie is 8 months of age. They have been used to going outside and have caused no damage to the place they called home….maybe your home would welcome them? Please call into the rescue to have a closer look at these beautiful boys. Thank you, Faye.

BLUE

UPDATE 15 April.
Blue did temporarily have a home but it was only for a weekend. We were told that the persons other cat didn’t like him….God knows why because he’s got us all smitten. He chats to us so much it’s becoming an upset when we have to leave….he’s such a great boy. If you know of someone who could give Blue a quality lifestyle, please do get in touch with the rescue.

Please welcome our 7-year-old lad Blue. he arrived a few weeks ago with another cat which has since been homed. Their previous owners allowed us to home them together or separately. Blue is a very affectionate boy and has the volunteers giving him all the affection they can when there is chance! He’s already neutered so nothing is stopping from finding that loving home….just hope it’s soon. Thank you, Faye

BELLA (March)

BELLA (March)

BELLA (March)

Bella arrived with us on Friday 21/3. She is around 8 months old and is booked for neutering this coming Friday (28th). A loud purry tortie that had been a stray for about 6 weeks with another cat that has yet to be brought into the rescue. She is an affectionate girl who would love the comforts of someone’s sofa I’m sure! Please give us a call or pop in to see her. She’s one not to be missed! Thank you, Faye.

TASHI

TASHI arrived with us on Friday 14th February. His owner is a Buddhist and was going on a long term retreat. He couldn’t find anyone to care for Tashi in the meantime. Very loving and the obvious ‘kitten’ behaviour, Tashi would suit most home settings. He has already been fully vaccinated but is still not old old enough to be neutered (only 4-5months). We can soon arrange that once he has settled into a suitable home. For any further information you can contact one of our volunteers at the rescue our pop in and see him

AMBER

AMBER

AMBER

Brought to us as a un neutered stray found in a car garage. We have named her Amber. Nervous on arrival, she has gained the trust of our volunteers since Friday 14th February. She had to be bathed on her arrival to remove some of the debris and fuel that was on her fur. I cannot believe how well behaved she was to say that she only had trust in the garage owner from a distance. She has actually got some white patches of fur where grey used to be. W really want a content and quiet home setting for her. She only deserves the best and we think a stable, quiet home would be the best start for her even if it is second time round. We estimate her to be only about 7 months old. Somebody is going to be a very fortunate person who adopts this wonderful lady in waiting! Thank you, Faye.

LILY AND WILL

LILY AND WILL

LILY AND WILL

You just cannot stop these two. They should have be called Dastardly and Mutley! Very entertaining and have been placed in our largest cage. A good job as they have oodles of energy. Both very clean and good eaters, this Brother and Sister duo will keep you on your toes for sure. They are now 7-8 months old and we have had them neutered and their 1st vaccination. Their owner begged her Mum to have them, however failed to care for them as the novelty wore off….how could someone tire of these two! Please call into the rescue and meet them for yourself. Thank you, Faye.

I’m Pickles, Mr.Pickles!

What a gorgeous boy Mr.Pickles is and a big one at that. He is perfect in every way (well I think so). He arrived on 8th February and is 3 years old. A lady had been feeding him for quite a number of weeks and took him to a vet to be checked for a microchip. None found and the lady couldn’t keep him much longer so she brought this gorgeous boy into our rescue. We have now had him neutered and he’s received his 1st vaccination. Nothing can stop this lad now from being homed. He’s great on car journeys and loves to nuzzle your face when you clean his cage. Come on, there must be a home that’s got a slot free on their sofa! Call into the rescue to meet this boy. Not to be sniffed at believe me! Thank you, Faye.

TINKERBELL (BENGAL)

TINKERBELL

TINKERBELL

Welcome Tinkerbell, but not for the faint hearted! She has a very strong dislike for cats and dogs alike and makes it quite apparent with her vocal opinion. She is 2-3 years old, neutered and microchipped. Also, I am pretty sure she is up to date with vaccinations. Sadly her owner passed away recently and there was nobody to take her on. Preferably she needs to be with someone who has a history of Bengals and MUST not have any other pets. People with young children should look at adopting an alternative cat also. Please enquire through the rescue for further information. Thank you, Faye.
