This charming 2 year old arrived at the rescue on 21st June. He is booked for neuter on Thursday 27th June but could be reserved in advance. The only way you can do this is to come down and see him in the flesh. He had previously been a stray in someone’s garden for over 3 weeks. Seemingly he is a great all rounder with pets and us humans! Call us for any further information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye
George came to our rescue on 28th May after his owner had to go into full time care. George is, as we say a big cat! He is already neutered and has lived with another cat. He loves fuss, grooming and always a tummy tickle….well there is plenty of it!! if there were space on my settee for another then he would be the one but enough fluff is….. well enough!!! If you think you have a few inches spare on your sofa for a little one then please get in touch with us…..Better still, call down and visit this real charmer! Any other information you can contact us on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye
Her name speaks for itself. Good job we are not charged for taking photos as this lady was a hard one to capture…as you can tell by the blurry photo! Mischief came to us with her kittens on 6th May after the landlord decided to rid his tenant of a home 🙁 Mischief is around a year old and at present is waiting for her milk to dry before she can be neutered and have her 1st vaccination. The operation is booked for Thursday 6th June but as it is looking her milk may not be reduced enough for her to be neutered. A real playful girl, I am sure a home will soon have her name on it! For any further information please call the rescue on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye

Hello all, my name is Ginge and I’m a neutered 3-year-old who was spotted living as stray in January 2013. I’m a fairly big lad with a totally charming manner. My carers here had hoped my lovely personality would get me an everlasting home very quickly but unfortunately I had a bit of a problem in the ‘cleanliness department’. They gave me the largest cage but I continued to make a mess of it. I’d been a stray for so long that it was hard for me to be trained to use a litter tray. My carers tried all sorts of tactics but eventually had to accept it was just not happening. I really couldn’t get the hang of it. They explained this to anyone interested in adopting me (i.e. that I would need an area indoors where this would be ok until I could be let out) and I nearly got a home in mid June but alas the people never actually came to adopt me. It would have been ideal as well by the sounds of it. Finally, my carers decided to tell me that my toileting trial was well and truly not going to plan and all their efforts had failed. I wish I could have understood what they wanted but despite trying I couldn’t, so, they let me have my freedom and become a resident. I was so scared when they took me out of the cage that I cried to get back in it! but they just said “No such luck Ginge!” so I had to venture out. My heart was beating fast, there was a lot to explore and loads of other cats and people around but, overnight I got myself accustomed to life here and managed to understand the pecking order of who’s who here. There’s been no trouble and I’m happy to say I’m thoroughly enjoying my life as a resident. No-one was sure sure how Fizz and I would cope with our first summer fair at the rescue in July 2013 but we both loved it! I spent most of the day at one particular stall getting hours of cuddles & strokes in the lap of one of the volunteer stall holders. I thought I’d better earn my keep so I got up onto the stall at one point to ‘give jewellery advice’ to a buyer. They bought the jewellery so I must have done ok eh?! Love Ginge xx
MAISIE arrived at our rescue on 2nd June. Se is a neutered and microchipped 8 year old who only came to us through a child allergy. She is more a lap cat but will venture outside. She has lived in a home with a dog so would suite all home settings. Any more enquiries please call the rescue on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye
This young 12-18 month old arrived w/e 31st May. She arrived with 2 Kittens (of adoption age) after owners left them in a mechanics yard. Coral is exceptionally loving and we are waiting now for her milk to dry so that she can be neutered. In advance of this procedure she can be viewed with an option of being reserved. A must see young lady! Please call down or ring the rescue for more information on 0161 653 6530. Thank you, Faye
Arrived here on 2nd May. He is a 1 year old neutered male. He has lived with another cat and loves the outdoors. His owner had to sign his cats over after his landlord terminated tenancy. A very rough player so not suited to a home with very young children. Call the rescue on 0161 653 6530 for more information or pop down to see this charmer. Thank you, Faye
This is our newcomer Scholes….not a football fan, it was just used as someone’s surname as we don’t have a theme this month. He is 2-3 years old and already neutered. He has been a stray for around 3 months and the person had 2 hound dogs that kept bullying this young boy. He is a little softy, shy at first but finds his lovable personality when you stroke him…especially his tummy!. please call in and look at this young man…you’ll be smitten. Thank you, Faye
Sisters Dominique and Karina arrived with us on Monday 21st January. They have been kept safe and warm with their Brother (homed already) after their owners disappeared and left the kittens behind. They took Mum cat so no doubt there will be another unnecessary pregnancy sometime soon. The girls are very friendly and are 6 months old. Dominique is being neutered Friday 25th january, whilst Karina will be neutered on Wednesday 30th. They can be homed together or separately. More information is available on 0161 653 6530.
